You're right, and thank you for flagging it, Parmelia sits inside the Perth metropolitan area, so calling that promotion "Perth metro" was misleading on our part. What we actually meant was our hand-delivery run, which covers Joondalup down to Bibra Lake. Those are the parcels we drop off ourselves, which is the only reason we could offer that rate. Anything past that corridor goes through Australia Post, and we pay their rate like anyone else. That's an explanation, not an excuse: the wording was ours and it wasn't accurate. I've refunded you the $7.00 difference, and the promotion has since been retired in favour of one flat rate Australia-wide, so nobody else runs into it. Thanks for taking the time to tell us rather than just letting it go.
